A Personal Journey of Transformation

Welcome to the great midlife roller coaster—a wild ride of drenching night sweats and the distinct feeling that a Dementor from the World of Harry Potter has moved in to vacuum away your joy.

If you are currently trapped on this hormonal loop-de-loop, Liz Lerum has two things to tell you: she has been through it all, and she handled it, well, terribly.

Written with honesty, warmth, and a no-nonsense approach, this book offers practical support, reassuring insights, and simple "Meno-Tricks" to help make your menopause journey smoother, more manageable, and filled with greater confidence and joy.

Chapter Excerpt

The Beginning - WTF!

One day, you wake up, and just like that, your battle with changing hormones begins.

Suddenly, you're standing at work in the middle of winter, and out of nowhere, you feel as though you're suffocating. Droplets of sweat begin forming on your face, your neck, and everywhere else so quickly that you barely have time to react.

In an instant, work is the last thing on your mind.

You rush toward the nearest window, silently muttering a few choice words because, of course, you have to remain professional. Then comes the disappointment that you can't open the window nearly wide enough.

For a moment, you're tempted to run outside and roll around in the nearest snowbank to cool the furnace blazing inside your body.
